Many of currrent people consider that PEDs should be banned for competitors, just a few think of that can be harmless.
Some athletes use drugs to win the competition, this causes a serious problem in society, as Bradbury (2012) states, "The problem is we can't set the penaities high enough to deter use effectively: getting away with it is just too valuable" (para.4)
The situation is not only extremely dangerious to the sport system, but also could end those drug-using athletes' career, which would lead to turbulence to some parts of the society.
Obviously, that athletes use drugs and cheat people is difficult to prevent. Moreover, the abusing of PEDs increase the health risks, "as I have listened to fighter discussing their performance-enhancing drug use, along with their accompanying heart, kidney, liver, bone, brain and psyhiatric ailments" (Goodman, 2012, para.4)
Such damages that resulted from PEDs in sports have a fearful impact on the whole socities in the world. The disadvantage is so clear, and people quite concerned about the banning PEDs.
